This is the traditional ‘agent model’ with some NON-traditional innovations. We function as an education consultant for students to make sure they qualify for the right programs. We recruit students to your school via a program-needs-matching process. We evaluate student needs/interests, match them to your programs when it’s the right fit, and help them apply.
The reason we are on a very positive success track (7 placements our first start; pipeline of about 20 more by summer, and a growing pipeline weekly) in a VERY crowded and competitive industry is because we leverage a very unique and innovative method for recruiting students. This method has 4 main components.
- 1. First, other consultancies charge students exorbitant consulting fees to help get them placed. Ranging from hundreds to sometimes more than $10,000 or even more, consultancies are over-charging students for information that most schools WISH was free. Unlike those expensive consultancies, instead, we depend on the placement commissions from schools, making placement easy for our students. This makes attracting students in a competitive market easier.
- 2. Second, the thing that makes our services more attractive is that for the most part, students hear about our services and the schools we represent from someone they trust. Our exclusive school-based (referring partners become advocates of specific schools) student referral program makes our word of mouth advertising extremely effective and our consultancy very trusted.
- 3. The results: We generate VERY high quality leads (well qualified = high likelihood of going where we say) when we put in our premium effort on behalf of your school.
- 4. Finally, we have access to LOTS of students all over the world! We have access to a 15,000-agent database (many of whom know and trust us from previous endeavors together). We can leverage these potential partners to develop whatever marketing and partnered recruitment (i.e. sub-agent) we choose.
